I don't have any experience with them but here are a few pages from some reloading books I've got... Maybe they can help you with a starting load.

EDIT: Didn't read where it said this was a plated round... Sorry but I'll leave these images up anyway...

Jacketed and plated bullets don't use the same load charts. Essentially these are cast bullets and because they are copper plated will leave less fouling. Unless you have a bunch of experience handloading save your money..

I've shot a few thousand plated pistol bullets and will continue.

I know that some have had good luck with plated .30-30.

.223... I'd want to try a few out before going in too deep.

If you can live with the limitations, treating them like a cast bullet is probably the best place to start.

The latest Lyman manual has data for cast bullets, but only up to 55gr.

I shoot plated pistol bullet all the time with no issues.

Just remember that these are cast bullets. Plated is not the same as jacketed. If you go for normal .223 velocities you will lead the hell out of a barrel.

Second point. These are Trucor brand bullets. (I asked) They are a new company out of Dothan AL and only started production last month. I have no experience with this brand but do some research on the internet. There are complaints out there that Trucor bullets are not even straight and will wobble if you roll them across the table. YMMV

Dead bird, the bag that I handed you were the culls... That was my mistake... they were bad.

    No problem.
I'll come buy in the next few days and take another look.

I've seen and bought far worse when the price was right.

1.5¢ each. Sometimes price is everything.

in all my years of handload'n... I have never seen projectiles like that. and I buy a lot for my family of hunters.
maybe because I don't do seconds. I handload for meat, and a minor few for paper to sight-in.

When you're looking to feed a full auto gun, they don't always have to be pretty.

Sometimes, just going down range is enough...

Doc, those are machine pulled projectiles, some pretty rough ones. Don't expect pinpoint accuracy but they do go down range.
