Reloading dara for 270 using imr4198

Does anyone have any data for this. Buddy bought a encore pistol 15" barrel. Wanting to know if we can use the powder I have. Or do we need a different powder

I have loading books going back to the 50's, let me take a look.

I checked and even my old books don't show any loads. I think that powder is too fast for 270.

I have pretty good results from the 4831s, H100V depending on the bullet weight or length. The slightly faster 4350s or H414/W760 might also be good. Watch the 414/760 above 85* if your close to a max load.

Ok I just have 6lbs of it. I may see if I can find someone that will trade for a pound of something that will work
