Hi everyone, I got a whole bunch of Dillon stuff at an estate sale (score!) and now that I have most of it cleaned up and in working order, I want to put together a nice reloading bench. Does anyone know of any good designs? I figure once I drill in the 650 and also put in a vise, those are there to stay so I want to do it right the first time.

Mine is just a two foot deep bench that has a one and a half foot bump out for the press to be mounted on. the bench is 6 feet long. Nothing crazy. :)

I built mine using this kit. All you have to furnish is 2 X 4's and the finish you prefer. It is easy and you can get by with a skilsaw. You could use a handsaw if that's all you have. It looks good and is heavy enough to stand up to heavy use. I did not mount the top shelves to make more working room on the table. Used them for a lamp table. Whoops, edit time! I forgot to mention the plywood for the table tops. I used smooth Birch plywood.

Home Depot has some butcher block counter tops for sale. They aren't cheap but they look nice. You can add some sturdy 4x4 legs and have a very nice table to go with your very nice equipment.

One sheet of 3/4 plywood cut in half long ways. Then stack the two together and cover with a cabinet grade veneer. That will give you a more than adequate table that stains and looks beautiful.

This is the harbor freight wood workers bench. Very good bench for cheap. Typical woodworking vise with various pegs and holes to use as hold fast.

nice table, I see what the holes and dowels do now. I don't know what the pointy things are called but I had a buddy that was in the Navy take them things and do all kinds of cool stuff with fiber and wire rope.

Here's my setup. Safe to the left with counter tops running that wall and the adjacent wall. Has worked well for me for anything I've needed. I have a counter mount LEE plate that accepts my presses as well as wood blocks for my powder dropper and vice. I'm also using my 50" plasma as my computer screen so it's nice to youtube or watch movies while I reload.

Woodworking. Clamp between the vise and the bench dogs (pegs) for planing. If you don't need them, remove them.
