Time to buy a media separator for use with stainless pins. Any recommendations?

    SS pins / case separator.
For a little faster separation,I opened up most of the holes to just smaller that the OD og the case head on 9MM cases. The mentioned magnet works great, but a colander, with a piece of screen wire works to get the pins out of the water, after you have separated the pins from the cases. Be sure and dry the pins after use, and watch for pins inside rifle cases and in primer flash holes.

I have been using the tumbler for about 5 years now and haven't never dried my pins. Just curious about drying the pins. I like your idea about colander with screen. Thanks for your response.

I don't dry my pins either.
I use the separator to rinse mine clean and put them back in the tumbler with minimal clean water.

Those Dillon Separators are great for other types of media. They will sling water and maybe pins everywhere with stainless if your not careful. The STM contains the water and PG doesn't object too much to me using her kitchen :)
