Anyone have any recommendations for a offroad capable utility cart that I can throw in the back of the 4runner. As apparently one place I was going out to shoot you cannot drive out there due to not being a numbered/named forestry road. Long story but good interaction with the fwc officer.

nursery ball tree carrier with a few mods for your stuff
That just looks like a dolly?
What I bring out for a range day and the approach road I'd be on. An actual 4 wheel offroad capable cart is gonna be needed.

Maybe just one of those E-bikes would work? I mean if you're not needing to carry passengers and gear in it, and just have to zip back and forth that is. Seems like it would be cheaper and capable of going thru more terrain also. Plus easy to load and unload.

    Running stroller.

You can get them used pretty cheap and build it out. They fold and are easy to push.

    Find one with pneumatic tires.

Google it and you will find a lot of good pictures.

Look at the yard carts Tractor Supply has, they have multiple with pneumatic tires of different sizes and could be modified for what you need.

I use the same spot for practice. We are pretty regular. In the last few weeks I have had luck using a folding "kids wagon" from academy. Fits a folding 6ft table, target stand and my gear. Wheels down the washed road "ok". Still looking into a better solution for getting thru that sand up top. Debating the beach style folder with wider wheels. Its ashame few bad apples makes it harder on the rest of us.

I use a yard cart from Lowes. It has sides that fold down. It will fit in a 4 runner taken apart(wheels off as well)
It's not that much work to take down and put together, but it is an extra step over a folding unit. If you're going through sand you way want something you can pull rather than push.
Santa Rosa shooting center has many different style carts on the backside of the building for use in the clay range. Similar to what duck posted, if you wanted to put eyes on something to get ideas.
