    I think I paid right around 100 bucks shipped for the last 1000 i ordered online edit....that was 2-3 months ago

    That, and with the twist rates offered now for .223/5.56, you can get some real good loads in heavier grains. No more sticking to the 55gr loads for your 1/12 twist.

    I personally think the 77gr SMK is one of the best rounds on the market.

    The reason I'm asking is because we just had a qualifying range today and I am now the proud owner of almost 5000 rounds of brass. I don't reload so I have no need for it. Thanks everyone for the input.

    And to think they were just going to shred it down and sell it or scrap. That's what they are doing at most military bases now even though its more expensive to do. It was made a rule last year around June by the DOD that all brass was supposed to be melted and sold as scrap. Guessing this was another one of Obama's ways to control reloading components for the civilians.
