    Thanks G-rat, looks as if VZ doesn't have any grips for the anaconda and python guns. The one I like above is off the Altamont site, out of stock.

    I went the Heritage MFG route - cheeper, plenty of choices for parts, and I love plinking with the 22.

    These are rosewood and Pearl I believe.

    I also went on Amazon to find a set of wood grips for my 38 - Wife liked the rubber grip better so I had to switch it back. The grips were cheap and not very good quality. :(

    I have yet to find any wood grips for the new Colts in stock with any of the companies. Good luck, and please let me know if you find some in stock.

    If the guns are made on old Colt tooling, why would the grips for new made models not fit? Or are they not made in the old Colt plant?

    EDIT: Quick search answered that....Belay my last!
