Got a fine new 308 bolt gun. Winchester xpr hunter. It was a 2020 shot show exclusive....
Kuiu Vias camo with grey cerakote. Upon looking closer I discovered this... built by Browning. :) Can't wait to shoot it.

I read that to dial these in you put the barrein a vise grip and use a hammer to adjust the point of impact to the scope and not use the scope adjustments.

That is how those mile long shooters do it.

(if you take this advise you are agreeing that you are completely ignorant and hereby release everyone who posts on the forum from any liability of you doing what they suggest).

Looks like mine is made in Japan. That is a pretty good looking rifle.
Maybe the Hells Canyon model is also Howa?

    Leopold vxr 3x9 firedot.
Mounted it up. There wasn't a gnats ass worth of room on the mount. Like it was made for it. (Tally) Eye relief perfect when snugged up to the stock. This is my first experience with quality stuff. ( don't laugh, to me it is)
Liking that 60 deg bolt. Thought I was going to have to reverse the forward mount. Mount is not riding the magnification ring or the bell. Leopold has a stop just before the ring. Scope can't move, lol.
Have several different types of ammo to try. Ordered an extra mag for it this am. Range time next week. We'll see what I can do. It's the Indian, not the arrow...

Headed to the range weds. Gonna zero at 100 yards and see what's what.. Bringing cleaning tools with. Probably try several 168-> gr bullets. (Factory ammo) range goes out to 300 yards. Ill probably use clay pigeons as targets on the berm.(300)
