Went to an estate sale today and picked up a true classic, a Sig P239 Tactical. I have seen a couple of P239’s the past couple of years, but never a tactical version and a German made one to boot.

I know it’s a relic among the modern conceal carry pistols, but it’s a metal frame classic that In my mind is still desirable among us metal frame junkies today.

This one is a very nice shape with no signs of wear and was well kept and probably spent the majority of its life in a safe. It’s was a bargain to me at $500, Now it’s going to be put to use as it should be.

I carry mine a lot, second only to a 640. I shoot mine as well as, or better, than anything(exception being a k frame). They carry like a sub compact and shoot like a fullsize.

FYI I used a galco Glock 19 leather dude as a place holder when I first got it, worked decent enough.
