Yep in mid September/october it picks way up. We test the anchor quite a bit. It's been very windy lately. Had to go on anchor and hide for about 6 hours last week. Alot of people think just because it's a lake, how rough could it get? Over 6000 sunken vessels would argue otherwise. Huge lake.... water in some spots is over 1000 feet deep.
If the wind blows hard enough it can raise or lower it 20 feet.... on one side.

The conveyor crew over loaded the belt and blew the top of the boom off. Yesterday, What a cluster. Busted all the mouning bolts. Glad I was asleep when it happened.

New bridge to Canada in Detroit. US is building half, Canada is building half.

At fuel dock picking up 100k gallons. This used to be a power plant back in the good old days, now a fuel dock. FYI we buy alot of power from Canada.... they must not have an EPA to save the planet.
