    When does the weather start really changing up there? Do you worry about lake-effect gale storms in the fall?
    Yep in mid September/october it picks way up. We test the anchor quite a bit. It's been very windy lately. Had to go on anchor and hide for about 6 hours last week. Alot of people think just because it's a lake, how rough could it get? Over 6000 sunken vessels would argue otherwise. Huge lake.... water in some spots is over 1000 feet deep.
    If the wind blows hard enough it can raise or lower it 20 feet.... on one side.
