It might be a little cold here... had to go into the engine room to defrost to get the clothes off. On the brightside once the clothes freeze your waterproof and wind proof. But if you go in before your finished you get soaked and really get cold.

Yep. Gotta be mindful of the cold. I've got two spots on me, one on my ear and one on my face from frostbite from years ago. Right now I've got a toe that's giving me some grief from the other day. Hopefully it's nothing, days will tell the tale.

Ugh. Coal is frozen in the holds. All the ballast valves were frozen. Only 2 loads left for the season. Was hoping this stuff would fly out. Dammit.

Cargo is NOT coming out. Area above the gates is frozen solid. Open the gate nothing falls. Using hot water to try and melt the plugs. Normal 12hr unload is gonna be 24+.

They should have installed steam heaters down in the tunnel. We have to run the tunnel fan the whole time we're loaded. ( coal vapors, flammable) So it sucks fresh air at the bow and pushes it all the way aft. So -5 air gets pulled in and everything freezes. Duh. Not designed well for winter.
