Finally finished checking out the Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5x30-50mm.
It is a $1249 scope in the way of light collection.
It does great on the low zoom side of 4.5x for active close targets.
The full zoom 30x was clear and focused at 300 yards but Not at 500+.
It is useable for me up to 800 yards but slightly foggy 500+ but really not bad considering I only paid $729 new for it.
It is compact and light for its capabilities.
Great scope for someone that hunts and uses it for paper punching at the range.
Had I paid MSRP of $1249 I would return it.
Scopes compared to by me: Leupold Vari-X3 6.5x20-50mm, Millet LRS-1 6-25-56mm, Pentax Ultimate zoom 3x15-50mm, Asprey 6x24-50mm
If you can deal with the size the Millet is the best in every category
