Wife and kids got me a pellet grill for father's day. Given that this is Florida and humidity is always high, what's the solution for keeping the pellets from degrading? How long will they last in the hopper? I figure I can store the remainder of the bag in a home depot bucket with a lid in the pantry next to the dog food, so that's not an issue, but curious about what's left in the grill?
Any other things to keep an eye on?
Any must-have's or Absolute DO NOTs?

mine last for months, the big thing is keeping a cover on the grill. Water will find its way in otherwise and you’ll have soggy pellets with a jammed auger.
