Wow! Always wanted to shoot an MP40. What’s the story on the antitank gun? Reading they ceased production in early 1942

Tracking down fellow civil war cannon owners in the 90s talked a guy that had this in his garage with all the extras and offered at a price I couldn’t refuse Eva n though II was after civil war .
The gun was used as infinity suuport till the end

Wow! Always craved a 37mm M3 or M3A1 anti tank gun. Big enough, but not too big to be handled. My biggest is a DD 26.5mm grenade launcher. My son in law 3D prints the projectiles for me.

MP40’s are so smooth shooting. Sold mine to a friend and bought a Sterling L3A3 with the $. The Sterling rivals the MP in smoothness and controllability. The bolts on both never bottom out in recoil but just float back and forth.
