This is a pic of the second batch of summer squash(crook neck squash)that a farmer friend has brought to me this year. He can't sell this to the farmers markets because it is too big(?).

He also brings me peanuts from a buddy that works in one of the peanut mills in Jay. We also buy cob corn from a guy in Walnut Hill and sweet potato's from Elberta. We put these out in the early deer season.

I also have several neighbors that have the "canning pear" trees. I put them out on my plots and the hogs go crazy over these pears after they have sat in the bright sun for about 6 days. I suspect that they start to ferment.

I have killed yotes over both the pears and the squash. They love 'em. --- SAWMAN

But what is their eating time and which restaurant will they be at? Those are THE questions.

Well, apparently they have "guard hogs" with radios. They watch out and then radio the other hogs that the humans have left the area. You can sometimes see the hog tracks over the top of the human tracks THE SAME NIGHT.
