Are the barrels Damascus? There were a lot of "hardware store" SxS guns made during the turn of the century. My Dad had one it was Baltimore Arms, Crescent was another common SxS hardware store shot gun. Be careful a lot of the older ones from that time period had 2 1/2" chambers and were meant for black powder loads! Good luck!

Great looking old rabbit ear shotguns.
Can you find any markings on the barrels or receivers? My Grandad gave me a SBS and the only markings were under the foregrip.

The "Jones underlever": Appears to be a Henry Jones (Joneses) Screw Grip System, Birmingham, England It wasn't just a different type locking system: it was proven to be the strongest and with long term durability. Used on Lancaster (resembles your sideplates) or Dougal but since there was no patent rights to be paid: numerous gun makers used it in place of others requiring royalties. This allowed wide spread use and generated admiration for its simplicity and robustness. If properly functioning it must be manually open and closed. If the underlever "moves" to the closed position upon Snap closing the breach: that's a Webly modified Jones Screw Grip production firearm.

    Lancaster example: https://www.dogsanddoubles.com/tag/underlever/

Nothing much catches my eye on the other double except the Prince of Wales styled grip. Well curved at the base allows for slight hand shifts while positioning for the rear trigger. Use of the Prince of Wales grip in your searches should eliminate non contenders.

Old-school English doubles. There’s a lot of history there. I would bet they are short chambered. It will take a lot more research and you’re looking for a small demographic buyer. Best of luck
