Yes, as someone who had to learn Organic Chemistry once upon a time, this has always bothered me, too. Organic really just means a carbon backbone to the molecule.Thanks for "enlightening" me, but I'm all for natural food without chemicals but people need to use the correct word. The opposite of organic is inorganic, ie not living. So if someone is eating eggs that aren't organic they must be eating...Concrete? All eggs and vegetables are organic.
I'll change the term right here and now to "ecofriendly produce"
