New Retro build

All new parts from Brownells. They had the proto upper and lower sets on sale so I grab one and this is the end result. The furniture is painted Kona brown to sorta match the original Prototype furniture on the very first Armalite rifles.

1/12 Brownells A1 barrel.

No M855 for that gun.
My XM177E2 has a 12 twist also. The M193 are fine. ---- SAWMAN
ADDED: Can shoot the M855's out to about 50yds with my gun. Yours ... a little further due to the extra vel obtained over my 11.5" bbl.
My gun is fed a steady diet of 193's.

I'm trying to find the parts to build a retro now. most everything is out of stock... I can find a piece here and there but nowhere near everything I need...
