Just joined the forum. Newly transplanting from MN to Panama City Beach. Grew up with a mix of upland bird, waterfowl, and deer hunting. I am looking forward to learning the area, how/where to find hunting opportunities, and a chance to continue teaching my youngest (14 now) to hunt.

A few tips.....it's pine straw, not pine leaves......don't say "pop or soda", lol...it's coke. Everything is coke, whether it's Coke or not, lol.
A woman can never go wrong by saying "bless her heart", lol.
The Civil War ain't over, only Lee surrendered.
If you don't have one, get a pick up truck. For bonus points put an Alabama sticker on it.
I'm sure others can add to this list, lol.

Around these parts the folks I know call it "coke" whether it's Coca Cola or not, lol.
We always said "kokoller" and "kolbeer" and had a rifle rack, a dog box, and a CB "antanner" on a well used "Merican" pickup truck. Usually that would initiate a friendly wave from a friend you had never met.

Welcome from Panama City (actually Lynn Haven...you know where that is but nobody else does).
I remember growing up in Panama City in the '50's. Lynn Haven was almost in the country. There is a statue of a Union soldier in a park in the middle of town. All these years later I haven't heard of any protests or demands to remove it....it's just history. Welcome to our little corner of the
    world.
