Do yourself a favor and consider Alabama. Binary triggers are still legal there and pistol permits are run thru the local Drivers License office in less than 5 minutes, unlike Florida... oh and land, houses, women and children are still affordable in Alabama. Their bucks are huge compared to what we have in the State Forest, their beach sand is just as white and sunny as ours is in Florida and they're not slowly turning into a Democrat stronghold.

Welcome to the forum. My wife and I relocated from Kansas and winter weather was a factor along with fresh water. My son and I chopped ice most mornings in stock tanks frozen the night before. Even with tank heaters, you needed to chop 3-4 inch thick ice so they could get water.
