Need to refurbish my steel pistol sights.

It was suggested for me to carefully drill out the existing paint and drop paint back in with a toothpick.

Anyone have any additional advice? Any suggestions for paint?

I roughed mine with a Dremel Tool, then put a couple coats of Glow-On Super Phosphorescent Paint and gave them a drop of clear fingernail polish to seal them.

Voila! Night Sights.

+1 for Glo-On I have it on all my handguns except my Sig with Factory night sights.

Another +1 for Glo-On. Put some on a shotgun's ghost ring sights. My wife has an HK pistol with a non-tritium night sight setup (basically glow-in-the-dark paint from the factory) and Glo-On works just as well as the HK factory sights.

if you dont feel like buying specialty paints. nail polish works fine.

Where does one buy glo on, is it sold in fishing tackle stores as we'd buy it in the UK for our bobbers for night fishing?
