Do not get an LG or Samsung! Look for simple controls push buttons or knobs. Avoid touch screens at all cost! Don't ask how I know this!

My wife thought she wanted a Samsung without an agitator. She’s regretted that decision as it just doesn’t work as well as her old Kenmore. She has to use the shop vac to get the sand out when she washes throw rugs.

Try to find a used old school top loader basic with NO electronics. We gave away our old "HE" washer because it sucked (not because it broke) and bought a refurbed one on the local Facebook for sale group, it runs like a top.
