My BAR is fairly tame on recoil with 150 core lokts. Killed many deer running dogs with it. No scope. XS ghost ring. Beats the heck out of spray and pray buckshot, leaves a blood trail to follow on the rare occasions you need to go look, and if one steps out at 100, that’s a dead joker too.
