Marlin 39A .22 lever action rifle. Made in 1968 so of course it’s JM marked and no cross bolt safety.Bushnell scope.
    Very good condition.
Has a few minor marks on the walnut stock and the plastic “bullseye” has fallen out.
Replacement bullseyes are available from Numrich and Brownell’s for a couple of $.
    Price is $800.DB96B204-8B51-42D7-969E-3787BE5CD433.jpegAD49E045-C49B-40D7-A6C0-E2C0D8969943.jpeg0B55E617-BBA8-40E6-972A-E59D01DF32B7.jpeg8224FE17-FC3C-4E15-A224-9B6B5D83A3EC.jpeg

ALL Marlin 39A's are takedowns. That's what the knurled thumbscrew on the right side of the receiver is for. A nickel is a perfect "screwdriver", if needed.

    AWESOME little 22's. Very fun.
I did not realize that they all were. Take down guns used to be common. The marlin 39A is very elegantly done. The little browning butt feed .22 is also take down and I wish more guns were like that today.
