installed a .380 acp barrel in a dedicated upper for an SWD M11/nine. it runs like a train. it uses the same 9mm mags or a converted 9mm mag for .380 acp. it's nice to be able to shoot another caliber in this lower. although, i did this mainly because the 380 round is very quiet when suppressed.

daezee, interesting observation. that was what got me started on this project in the first place. i wanted slow it down without having to buy another expensive after market upper while keeping the oem compact size. i would guess it's around 800 to 850 rpm now. as you know, much slower than the oem 9mm upper. it uses the stock bolt, extractor, recoil spring and buffer.
