I have a S&W 357 that is factory nickel finish. For some reason the nickel peeled back on the cylinder only. Two questions: What would cause that? And who can I take it to to have it repaired. The gun was handed down to me. Very few rounds run threw it. The issue occurred while firing the gun. Only noticed when reloading. It still fires and functions perfectly. Thanks!

Check with s&w ....they use to refinish for reasonable rates.
I think there is a guy near crystal river that is one of the best.

Thanks. Didn't think of going to the manufacturer. They would be the experts.
