I have a lot of grey oak LVP that I will sell/trade you for around $1 sqft.

Let me know if you want a piece to check out color/etc.

It is left over from a couple of jobs at houses I sold.

(I do not want to do any work though - I just got all the glue off my tools!)

I'm a flooring/tile contractor, (out of commission for a few more months due to injury), definitely go to a vinyl plank. Quality product typically starts at about $2.50+ a foot, average install is about $2ft.

The only person I would recommend would be Andy @ Cottingham Tile in gulf breeze, i dont know if they travel that far but its worth a call. Genuine people and excellent quality.

I paid about that per square foot and it did not include the actual flooring - just the underlay, glue, trim, paint, etc.

    Agree, doesn't sound terrible.
Just had mine done @ 1610 sf.
Over 500 linear feet of 5” baseboard with 1/4 round installed & caulked.
Same as you with furniture moving and toilets removed and reinstalled.
    Just a tad under $10,000.

    Breath in,
    Breath out,
    Write the check.

HAD to get rid of that carpet.
SO glad I done it,,and you will too.

I’ve got number 2 red oak wood floors everywhere except the bathrooms and kitchen, 4900 sf of floor. I’d hate to think what that would cost to replace.
