After shooting my Kimber Stainless LW 9mm, I wanted to adjust the rear sight to the left as it shot slightly to the right. Well, when I tried to loosen the set screw on the rear sight, the screw head(?) stripped or rounded out making loosening or removal impossible. Since this is a new gun and under Kimber warranty, I called Kimber to get an RMA. The rep tried to tell me it was not covered under warranty as it was stripped by me. I explained that the screw was put in too tight by their gun techs, not me. He finally agreed and gave me an RMA. I sent the slide in on 6/26/20 and received it back on 7/10/20-exactly 2 weeks. The set screw came right out and I removed the rear sight and replaced it with an LPA adjustable. So, I give Kimber Customer service an 8 (because he tried to blame me) and their service department a 10. Well done Kimber.
On a side note, I have a Taurus Raging Hunter that has been at their repair facility since Feb 17th and is still awaiting parts (which are coming from Brazil). I probably won't see it until Feb of next year, if then.
