These also work with 1911 mags. There great guns, especially for the price!

I can confirm that this does work with 1911 magazines, and magazines for Officer's frame models (which will fit flush and hold one more round than the factory magazine). However, not all 1911 magazines will reliably lock the slide back when empty.
