Been on the road, with mixed meals. One night after a long drive dinner was a can of mini-raviolis, from the can. No pic! LOL

A few decent meals from the road, other than the ones associated with the wedding. Had a couple of great meals in that event.

Took the wife for lunch at Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery ME. Clam chowder, 1/2 loaf of clam strips, and a lobster roll filled us up with left overs for diner!

Last night on the road found a good Chinese place in rural TN. Really good moo goo gai pan with fried rice, and great chicken lo mien. There was none left for breakfast!

Did not see it, we came to RT 1 via NH 101. Must have missed it, it would have caught my eye unless traffic was heavy right then. The beach was very busy!

Fat Kid got worked up a little today. Threw me together some Shrimp Creole and slid a side of Grilled Snapper next to it

Wasn't sure how this bacon was going to work out. Changed the taste quite a bit.
Burgers, pulled pork, homemade chicken and dumplings and garlic bread with all the fixings. Had conecuh for an appetizer

After 12 days on the road we are enjoying better home cooked meals. I made a hearty breakfast this morning, and wife have a good and hearty beef stew this afternoon for dinner. Breakfast included good tomatoes picked up in Clanton on the way home, sweet corn shaved into the stew came from the same market there. Real good tomatoes and corn.

Wife wanted to make a box Jambalaya mix, and the smell of it cooking made me crave gumbo too. I ordered two bowls to go from Shannon's Seafood Kitchen close by. Not my first visit, and will NOT be the last!

Try them if close by and in the mood.

They were out of debris fries tonight, probably a good thing as much as I like them!

For lunch, jambalaya....just for you Jester! Mighty good, even without gumbo. I was eyeing the wife's left over gumbo and she gave me a look I have seen in many prison movies; just before a shanking! I left it alone, she is eating it with a smile now.

Had to have a late lunch as the cool weather inspired the wife to make a hearty breakfast!
