    Looks like red water. Isn't chili supposed to have great consistancy to it.

My dish is mine; and it never comes out the same as I am always experimenting. It will thicken as it cooks and is reheated. The wife approved, and her approval counts! :rolleyes:

    Been craving it since reading that it was one of the once popular foods that have fallen out of favor. Still tasty. Swedish style meatballs over egg noodles with cheese.

    notice the fresh cracked pepper on top of the cream sauce that stays in place it is so rich

    If that isn't enough here is some etouffee ...as close as I can get it to what my Grandmother used to make (she taught me)...did I mention some of my relatives names end in eaux.
