Had to snag take-out from Petrella's Italian Cafe tonight. I did not believe it was possible, but I think they put in more food than they server in the bowl at the restaurant!

Hey Tractor! Actually my wife did. It is amazing to me how you can keep that thing going. Yeast and bread flour are getting scarce so we are thinking of plan b type stuff since we don't normally buy bread and prefer to make our own
Do you think she would share the recipe? I grind my own flour for whole wheat bread, but my one attempt at sour dough was a flop.

Turkey burgers. Don't knock it till you try it.
The key is white ground turkey.
Garlic, onion, paprika and Weber gourmet burger seasoning. Delicious

My wife made a Dutch baby the other day. I'd never heard of it but it was pretty good! She has been looking to add a few things to it, I suggested a lb. of bacon. She rejected the idea.

there is nothing that a lb of bacon won't make better....you should accuse her of being a commie..lol

    Not at all.
    You would think so.
    I do cook with lid.
Sear on each side and add water.
Cook on medium for 5 minutes per side.
I also use ground turkey or ground chicken for taco meat. Just less fat. Its really good.

    This IS what's for dinner.
Tuna steak - from the rigs off of Louisiana - marinated in a little Sweet Baby Ray's and alot of horseraddish. Also some lemon juice.
Will put on the outside fire pit - over pecan wood.
This cut weighs a little over a pound. I'm eatin' the whole damn thing.
NO . . . there will not be enough for everybody. Go eat your fuckin' turkey burger !! --- SAWMAN

Swung by for a couple of take out orders from Grover's Chicken and Wings for breakfast. I got a chicken fried steak sandwich with egg and cheese on grilled toast. Should have gotten a side of gravy, but it was delicious and filling. No pics as I was hungry by the time we got home.

Wife wanted to go lite, so she agreed to a short stack of 2 pancakes with blueberries. She had never seen their pancakes before. I think she was surprised! Dinner plate sized, and pic does not capture how thick they are. LOL
