    Upper is approx 100
    Nib bcg is approx 120
Barrel at the least is 85
    Rail is likely 120-150

400 is a good enough deal. Specs are right

Was able to find it on my phone. That upper was 269.

Even if something is OOS add it to "compare" then click compare products.

Worth every bit of $400 considering what you are getting. If it had a FN CHF chrome-lined barrel, it would be worth about $100 more.

unless you like the cheese grater handguard I would be changing it and I prefer a 1-8 twist..otherwise you could build one the way you want for the same or less...unless you like it the way it is.

Also, if you had a $400 budget for an upper, what would you go with? Don't need a bcg or ch. Links would be nice :)

I would call Nate and tell him what I wanted and what barrel and handguard, then pick it up from him after it was finished...lol

Yeah if I was still living over that way I am sure I would have done that by now. Gosh there is so much stuff right now out there I'm a bit overwhelmed.

    $400 complete.

Radical firearms with the keymod handguard. Joebobs or aimsurplus.com. if you don't care about keymod they have a cheaper handguard that will save you some coin that will still mount MOE accessories.

Dsgarms offers some uppers in a similar configuration for $300 without bcg/ch. Same handguard but adjustable gas block. Aimsurplus has cheap bcgs and charging handles. Have heard good things about their nitrided bcgs if you want to spend a little more

Take back what I said about dsg. They changed their config slightly and now they're more expensive.

For the record I do not know him and don't have a dog in this hunt but it's an upper. If you like his work have him build it and ship it to your door.

My work isn't anything special. I'm just tightening the barrel nut to keep the parts together. If you wanted some "nice" parts with brand names on them I can probably save you some money but with so many offerings on line below the $400 mark it's tough to really save you any coin and still make anything.
