It’s unfortunate that everything in Illinois is geared toward Chicago.
There are some good conservative people in that state. Lots of farms but all the laws are geared toward the big city and its problems.
One bright spot - there was a law went into effect several months back, take your ARs out of state or register them (I THINK there was a yearly registration fee) and judging from the amount of guns registered, the mandate was largely ignored.
