Nope, sold the hummer. Dealership in bay minette wants it, but im not gonna give it away. If they will give me that off a new dodge I might take it. Want the 6 cylinder diesel 4x4.
I don't know mopars very well. Is that diesel a cummings?

It's definitely varying from dealership to dealership. I just bought the wife a new vehicle and it was fairly cheap. But now I'm looking at either the Toyota Tacoma or the new ram 1500 ( I'd really like the classic warlock butt...) But can't decide which one. I'm trading in my 17 frontier with 61k miles on it and am getting basically what I paid 2 years back. I paid 17k and it's valued at $14-17k still.the market is a mess.

Go tacoma. Better vehicle and better resale value than the Dodge.

not to mention the currency is tanking, no way a new truck should cost close to 100k...

when you take into account all the technology - it really does.

a bumper assembly with sensors is $8-15k depending on brand/features.

take a look at all the required safety items - $15-30k in airbags in new vehicles, seatbelts that automaticity tighten at impact, all the sensors to control safety items, emergency braking systems, etc.

Most cars have at least $25k of tech before you get into the goodies.

Lack of ecoboost badge on the side would point toward a flexfuel 5.0 or 3.3 normally aspirated donk

I’ve been looking for a used Ford Ranger extend cab 4x4 with an automatic transmission on Facebook market place. They’re out there but they sell quick if it’s a fair price, either that or I get one response if that and then no response on a meeting place or time to meet up

Bit the bullet and bought a truck. F150 w/ bells and whistles. 4x4, 4 door.
That’s a fine ride right there. You are gonna love it. Converted to Ford in 2001 and never looked back. F-250 diesel right now. Best truck I ever owned. Had four F-150’s since 2001 and I used to be a die hard GM guy.

Very nice. I was in the same boat, drive a beater for years and it was always “we’ll buy a truck next year” I lost count. Finally back in the end of 19 when they were practically giving them away I bought an F150. Love it. Loved it so much, just bought the wife an Expedition, they were not giving that one away, but it’s got a lot more bells and whistles than mine.

Absolutely loved the Tundra (was my 3rd).
BUT - -> as you get older the parking lots get "smaller" and I found it harder and harder to effectively maneuver in these "tight" quarters.
Plus, was just towing a 10X12' single axel with 1800lb Bad Boy Buggy and no more river boat ..... sooooo ??
Would reccomend a Toyota Tundra to anyone to this day. --- SAWMAN
ADDED: The 4cyl turbo (10 speed) in my Ranger has adaquate torque for my purposes.

Looking back. My first Tundra was the smaller model also. (Cannot remember the year)
Had plenty of torque and pulled my river boat ( tunnel hull w/ Yamaha 90) to Cedar Key several times per year.
Put 70K on it with no probs whatsoever. --- SAWMAN
ADDED: Had plenty of hogs in the back of it over the years also .... right Frank .
