If ever there was a chance for the FairTax to come to be now is it. This new tax plan abolishes the IRS, the 16th Amendment and all federal income, inheritance and corporate taxes and replaces them with a 23% federal sales tax on all NEW goods and services.

If you don't know about this new tax plan please research it at fairtax.org or read the "FairTax" book by Congressman Jon Linder (R Ga) and talk show host Neal Boortz.

With enough pressure on the government adoption of this new tax plan would end government using the complex tax code as a weapon or to control citizen's behavior. April 15th would be just another spring day, you would get your entire paycheck, no federal deductions. You would get a monthly prebate check to cover your taxes on basic necessities of life and all the embedded taxes that exist in everything you buy would go away thus reducing the items cost to bring to market.

Corporations hiding their money overseas because of a current 38% tax rate would bring all that money home to work here, as well as other foreign companies coming here to set up their corporate headquarters due to the very favorable tax structure, bringing even more jobs.

This new plan, when implemented, will be the biggest shot in the arm for the economy there has ever been. Imagine, no more government punishing people for success.

This new plan will never come to pass if we depend on government to get it done, politicians stand to lose way too much power and control with it. It must come from the bottom, me and you writing and calling out public servants on a weekly bases and demanding the bill be passed.

    Rick
