    No need to bump you ad for a SOLD item. You've completed your task, no victory lap needed. This only knocks someone down the list of items still for sale. just say'n...
    Instead, you can just edit your ad to put SOLD in the ad for future searchers. Easy stuff.

    I don't believe changing the ad heading to include the word "sold" bumps it to the top. But, I stand to be corrected.
    It does not. This would be the right way to do it.
    Posting Pending, spf, and sold bumps your ad to the top and we all get to read it again for no reason.

    I'll usually edit my last bump (if there is one) to also indicate that its sold. Some people don't look at titles for some dumb reason

    If it's sold I delete all my bumps. Theoretically drops the post far enough back most folks won't see it.
