I replaced the recoil spring in my Sig P938 and the new one was significantly longer. I shot about 200 rounds perfectly fine and then the gun shot, round ejected, but the slide stayed locked to the rear. I cleared the gun and tried to release the slide lock but it feels like it is jammed on something. I've tried moving the slide a little forward or back and it still won't drop. No clue where to go from here.

must be my day. Came home and was a man about it and the slide released after using both hands. I'll post a picture of the recoil springs seems to be a hell of a difference between the two.
