Help identifying some ammo marked ccw 45

What is marked “ccw 45”?
A box?
As asked above, what does the headstamp look like?

Do you have calipers for measurements?
Bullet puller?
Weight scale to measure the projectile weight?

A common round to stand next to one of those to provide scale in the picture?

So far, I cannot find CCW as a listed head stamp. What cartridges are they? 8mm, 50 cal, 308, 30-06?

Think that's actually wcc, 45 would be the year. Appears to be 308?

Agree. 308 is much shorter than 30-06

Appears to be a Silver Tip bullet. No military rounds were ever loaded with those, so it appears to be a Military Case (WCC 45) reloaded with a commercial bullet.

Western Cartridge Co.
SUPER X, SUPER-X, W, WCC, W.C. Co. WESTERN
Winchester
W, H, SUPER SPEED, W.C. Co.

Here's a thread I found. If you got the ccw backwards, did you also get the 45 backwards? If so they discuss a wcc 54 range In this thread. Maybe 7mm

Yeah that's all I found for 45 also. Don't think it's 30 tho. I think he got the 45 backwards also maybe

I see some mention in that forum it may be 6.5 caracano? That's if it's a wcc 54 that is.
