    Trying to find out make and model. No markings other than the grips and BSCEB on the left side by the slide release hole.

    Looks like a bolt-on polymer double stack frame...

    It has a serial number but the optic mount is covering it up and I I can't get the screws out. The lower half is plastic and doesn't take down like a normal 1911.

    Yes Raven you are correct. The hammer won't cock back and the safety doesn't move like it should. Trying to get info so I can take it down and try to figure out what's wrong with it. Not my pistol but it could be.

    The step in the frame where the partial serial # is exposed is different on the two pistols you link to Rebel. Is that corrosion around the serial #?

    Well that changes things. I just wanted the slide barrel and compensator
