    Hey yall,
I have a hellcat currently that i use for my edc.
Have put roughly 150 rds through it so far.
I find it a little on the snappy side especially with defense ammo and i am not as accurate as i should be with it. I have also tried the p365 and did not like the ergonomics of it.
My question is is there anyone who has shot the hellcat and 43x side by side and found that the 43x is less snappy and more controllable?
Or do i need to just put more rounds through my hellcat and become more proficient with it before i go lookin at getting a different gun?
    Thanks
    Brian

    I carry a 365 and I don't think it's snappy.
I also have a 938 that I believe to shoot more accurately, but the 365 has more rounds.

The 365 was the first edc i bought, didnt like the ergos but shot it ok, sold it to get the hellcat because i liked the way it felt but dont shoot it as well. Stupid me shoulda hung on to the 365.
I like the way the 43x/48 feels but havnt shot one.

    48 is my preference.

I have shot all three and prefer the 43x, but have been carrying Glocks for 30 years. Dont like the Hellcat ( ergos) , 365 trigger is excellent but something in the grip is of for me. For info the G19 is my perfection so the 43x is a natural forCC.. My 2 cents

Everyone is different in what they like and feels good in their hands. It's also true for what you can shoot well. I currently have both of what the OP is asking about. The Hellcat is my current carry gun! I can shoot it as good as any. I can shoot the 43X good as well. I personally like the Hellcat just a tad more. The fact that it holds 14 rounds helps just a tad as well.

Choose what you will carry the most. That's the first rule. If you will carry one over the other more often, then go with that one.

I do not know about everyone else but I don't carry anything that has less
than 5-6 hundred rounds through it. jmo
Me too. Unless it's an unmodified Glock. Perfection, right out the box

For me, it depends on what county I'm going to be spending the most time in that day, whether or not I go with my G19 or my G23. If something happens and I find myself hollering for a LEO to throw me a mag, I want mag and ammo compatibility

If your a Glock guy I'd run the Glock, if you can find shield arms mags. 15 round, will surpass the hellcat in brass

I think the OP was looking for subjective info. We all know if it feels good, it runs , and you shoot it well , the heck with everyone else

I have shot a G-43 (not a 43x). My EDC is currently a P-365 and a Shield before that. I don't find any of them snappy unless using +P ammo. A KelTec PF-9 was painful for me to shoot with RA!

Have a PF9. Snappy is a good desciption. RIPPY WITH +P
PF9 was my first carry pistol. Shot it ok had alot of problems had to send it to kel tec 2 seperate times. Bought a nano and sold the pf9. Shot the nano good but when the higher capacity slim 9mms started coming out figured higher capacity is better. Still have the nano.
I am getting the talon grips to go on the hellcat and gonna put some more rounds through it and see if i can work through my somewhat shitty shooting. Lol
