    What's recomended to use,need sound compression and still be able to here a conversation. Seen a lot advertised but looking for honest opinions

    At work I use the surefire in the ear ones. Has a little flap you can clise for big noise or leave open for more basic protection. $13 is tough to beat...

    Might not be the best but I use Walker's. Think its called razor slim. It's common but does the job. Has a microphone outside that plays sound through a speaker in the earmuff. Volume can be controlled. Gunshots are pap paps in the ear at low db and when turned off it's a quiet earmuff. All conversations can be heard. Not always a good thing lol
