    At that range it must have been bird shot or old man was way off. I was expecting to see an arm hanging or his melon exploding.

    You would have a hard time reloading a cut shell for second shot, And have found you don't really need to put any thing to hold the shot together unless you are trying to shot something at a long range. then use a slug. Get some 1/4 and 1/2 in. plywood and difference shot size and and see what it will do at difference distances. have done this.. If you don't have any neighbors use low recoil buck shot like Fed. true-flight., just my 6 cents

    That poor old dude had a heart attack after it was over.

    At that range, virtually any shot size performs about like a slug. You'd get a bit of spread out of a cylinder bore, and maybe that's what he had. Dude was lucky it was either that or he was off with his shot or guy just got lucky and jooked right at the correct moment.

    Never underestimate the power of the low brass 7 1/2! Dillos and prowlers beware.

    Heart attack victim should seek damages from the invaders for pain and suffering and at the very least has a solid workers comp claim. He hit the ghetto lottery
