Looking for some Hodgdon 1000 and/or Retumbo.
Will travel a reasonable distance for these.
Can buy outright or trade for some powder that you might need. ---- SAWMAN

Thanks gentleman. Will live off of RL-25 for awhile I guess.
Most everybody is shooting the 143gr+ bullets out of their 6.5PRC's using these and a couple others. Right now I am more interested in the <141gr bullets and especially the 120 and 130gr Barnes TSX/TTSX as a hunting bullet. ---- SAWMAN

Is there any load info for it anywhere ??
The problem is,extremely limited info for reloading the 6.5PRC. And what there is,is limited to the >143gr bullets.
I have gained limited info from the Snipers Hide Forum. --- SAWMAN

Been looking at that site. Looking to use a powder that I already have. But do not think that it's gonna happen. Even though I am not at least now interested in the >143gr bullets, looks like I will have to purchase other powders for efficient burn and speed.
For now I am going to test some of the Barnes TSX/TTSX. They are long and have a reasonably high B.C. I gave them now in 110,120,and 130gr. I have some 127gr LRX (Barnes) coming.
Although I would be interested in some longer range shooting, this gun will be used primarily for hunting. So hunting bullets are my main picks. --- SAWMAN

Thank you sir but I got a can this AM. They had about 5 cans at Bass Pro Shop (Spanish Fort).
Looking for other published loads other than Hodgdon right now.
The 6.5PRC chambering is fairly new and does not have a big following . . . at least for now. Huge difference with the 6.5Creedmoor.
Hopefully another member will buy one and we can pool our resources. --- SAWMAN

Decided to find some H1000 in stock for you...found a few 1 lb cans, but none of the places (none local) that have it will ship. Found some 1 lb cans in Canada for $59.95 Canadian (they won't ship to you either). No 8 lb jugs to be found. :(

Appreciate that Bruce. I also have some H4831 in stock and 785. Eventually I will want to shoot lighter bullets, possibly down to 100grs and there is no published data for that. However I do believe that I have the appropriate powders for that.
The case capacity is extremely close to the 6.5-284 and 6.5-06 so possibly I can start low and use some of those loads --- SAWMAN

Styx River had h1000 and Varget in 1lb cans the other day. I don't remember seeing retumbo. No clue if they still have any today.
