Well it looks like H&K is trying to get a civilian model G36 Rifle to be imported here to the US. Hope it goes well for them.

I am sure it has some great points, but to me it looks like an ugly AR?? What would be any advantages to this vs an AR-15 or cto an ACR ?

Not sure it has any distinct advantages, but this one looks a lot closer than the neutered g36ish SL8 that they've been selling for so long, and converting one of those to a G36 clone was well into the thousands the last time that I checked. Hopefully they make it through, I've wanted a G36 clone for the longest time, but just couldn't see sinking that kind of cash into it...

I think that I read that the USC was being discontinued, does that mean a more faithful representation of the UMP is following this? That'd be awesome too!
