It seems to me that as ammunition prices have climbed to record highs that guns are starting to decline in value. The market has certainly changed as of late.

I would say gun prices are higher now than they were 2 years ago, but the plateau definitely been reached. I think as people can't afford to replenish ammo, guns will be sold at more reasonable prices. It's all a cycle, and God willing we are about to be in the backside of it.

The rush on guns is over. Everyone who was desperate finally found what they needed. Ammo has come down some, but I don't see it dripping anymore for another year. Will never be where it was 2018/2019 prices.

Ammo prices will drop again when all have their fill of chasing it and making less flipping

Where would a flipper find ammunition cheap enough to flip? Academy is now changing close to what the flippers were charging a few weeks ago. It’s seems I can now find all the ammunition I want, but it’s more costly than ever before. Some times more than I‘m willing to pay.

    I still can’t find a retro Mossberg 590A1; been looking since 3/2020.

If we all stop buying ammo, the prices will go back to normal. If everyone keeps buying at the higher prices, the manufacturer knows it can keep charging the higher prices.
