That is a nice deer. What did you do shoot him through the head? You had him bleeding from his eye balls lol

I started shooting them in the eye, it's more of a challenge.

The real story is this deer came out broadside about 150-200 yards out but his head and shoulders were behind a tree so I didn't know what it was yet. By the time I leaned over and looked around the tree and noticed it was a buck it turned and started walking away from me and was about to enter the wood line again so I rested my elbows against the rail that goes around my tree stand (which is not a good brace) and had to send a rushed shot at his neck. I got lucky and hit him in the eye and dropped him right in his shadow. It's always better to be lucky than good!

I hunted Belle Fountain in the late 90's early 2000's when they still had dog hunting. I got out of hunting after dog hunting ended but just got back in this year and I have had a great year, my son got his first deer a 6 point this year and I got a 7 and 10 point this year.
