    Not a glock guy. But... since the striker is never fully cocked on a glock until as you pull the trigger, I imagine it's for different felt pull weights

    They got it right. Factory is 5.5lbs. I run a 4.5lb in my competition gun, but any lighter I started getting light primer strikes. I overcame it by getting a skeletonized titanium striker with a long point, but it wore out pretty fast and I just got used to the heavier pull rather than constantly buying expensive parts.
