    I have no clue how that's done...if I had to guess, I'd say some form of sand blasting?

    I believe most people use a soldering iron. I don't think I could do it to my glock....but it did do it on my speargun handle.
    It does add a lot of grip....just doesn't look factory smooth any more. Haven't seen one for sale that had been done like that....so I don't know what it would do the the resale value.

    I've never been a fan of the look of stipple, however, that is the best looking stipple job I've ever seen. Nice work.

    What size tip did you use? I'm contemplating doing one while I'm on break between semesters.

    I just could not do it to one of mine, you have courage...LOL


    I figure if I screw it up it's not that big of deal since stripped frames are pretty inexpensive. My Glocks are work tools and I'm not concerned about resale value on them.

    i used the tip that comes on the wood burning tool from wallyworld it was the biggest one in the pack .has a very sharp point .that its my first one but that is a cracked frame i replaced for a friend, good one to start on .no harm no foul. lol
