Glock barrels

I have searched around a little and can't find the answer I'm looking for so. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I am understanding that one can simply swap out the barrel and magazine in any Glock and it's converted.? Are all the frames the same? Can I just drop a 357 sig, or a 45 barrel in my Glock 35 and it will handle the pressure, what if I wanted to down size to a 9mm? Is it really that simple? Thanks for the help.

I don't think you can do it with any Glock, but I believe you can switch between the 9mm, .357 Sig, and ,40 S&W models. You might be able to switch between 45ACP and 10MM models, but I'm not sure about that.
